Yea that's right, i entitled this blog in spite of a pop-culture TV show.
lots of people use their blog to spout off random rants and raves... i don't do this, so here it goes.
i absolutely hate the improper use of the contraction, "you're." really, how hard is it to conceptualize?
Case Study:
- i want to say that the word pretty describes you, and that the word nice describes the hair-do you wear
Product:
- You are pretty, and your hair-do is nice.
OR (if i want to be at least as smart as a 7 year old, i'd say this...)
- You're pretty and your hair-do is nice.
REALLY, people? how hard is it to contract two words?
You + are = You're
You + are ≠ Your"Your" is the possesive form of You. There, i'm done ranting.
